The Sacrament of Reconciliation, also known as Confession, is a Sacrament through which individuals seek forgiveness for their sins. It involves three key elements: conversion, preparation, and confession of sins to a priest who absolves the sins in God's name. Therefore, to avail of this sacrament, a person should examine their conscience, confess their sins to a priest, express genuine contrition, and perform the assigned penance. This sacrament restores one's relationship with God and the Church, offering spiritual healing and grace.
Generally whenever there is a Eucharistic celebration inthe Church there will be a priest available for Confessions, especially prior to the starting of the Eucharist. You can also approach a priest any time in order to celebrate this Sacrament/make your Confession. It is opportune to celebrate this Sacrament frequently, and whenever the status of your soul requires it.
